Evan Chandler Ahrendt

Evan Ahrendt is a full-time nurse and children’s book author and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. His passion for writing and illustration began with drawings of his English Bulldog, Watson, which eventually inspired his first book, Watson in Space.

What started as illustrations of Watson has grown into a five-book Watson Series, along with the Kevin and Carl Collection. Evan self-publishes his books with the goal of creating playful stories and colorful illustrations that spark imagination and bring adventure to young readers.
