Ben Jacobsen

Benjamin N. Jacobsen is an Associate Lecturer in Sociology at the University of York. His work explores the everyday power and politics of algorithms, data, and social media platforms, especially in relation to memory. His book (co-authored with David Beer) is called Social Media and the Automatic Production of Memory and will be published with Bristol University Press in April 2021.
