John A. Fazio

John Fazio was born in Pittsfield, MA to James and Marie Fazio, the Youngest of 5 children. Shortly after his mother Marie came to know Jesus in 1971, she introduced him, and John accepted Jesus at age 7. His mother Marie, read the bible to John every morning, and this is where his lifelong love for the scriptures began.

John's love for reading and studying the bible continued throughout his life. But it was not until one morning in 2010 that God spoke to John in a powerful way, like he never had before. It was through two verses in John 6, the first which said, if you want to do the works of God, believe on the One who He sent! And later in that same chapter when many were offended and leaving Jesus, He turned to His disciples and asked, will you also leave me? To which Peter replied, where else would we go? Only you have the words of eternal life. Immediately, John knew that he believed exactly as Peter, and in fact had always believed. There was an instant release from the burden to perform, finally feeling the love and acceptance from the Father that had alluded him all these years.

This experience brought effortless life-changing freedom and the intimate relationship with God he had always longed for.

John begin to see and study the scripture in a whole new way, as he never had before, focusing on God’s promise and determined purpose in Christ that was from the beginning to give us His blessing and life as a gift.

This prompted John to start his website, "JesusFinishedWork.com", to proclaim the good news of Christ's finished work. He shares his written articles here, which he also shares prolifically on Facebook.

In 2017, Jesus began walking him through the Psalms, where John interprets them through “How Jesus saw God as Abba”. It is this ongoing work that inspired “The Faith Translation”.

John resides in Deltona, Florida with his wife Susan of 35 years and 3 adult children, Melissa, John Jr., and Matthew and soon to be 5 grandchildren.
