Migdalia Mugan

Migdalia Mugan is a RN who works for the state of New York conducting evaluations to determine eligibility for MLTC services. She has over 25 years of experience working in the community with the elderly population. These experiences includes different settings such as MLTCs, hospitals, nursing homes, medical clinics, PACE programs, social day care and home care. She has worked as an intake nurse for various MLTC programs (River Spring, VNSNY and Fidelis MLTC). She also has worked as a charge nurse in several NYC nursing homes (SVDP, Morningside and Hebrew Home). Migdalia has worked for the Archcare organization for over 20 years including their PACE programs, Nursing homes and RN home care services. She also has worked at Jacobi Medical Center Trauma / Med Surg units as a staff nurse. These experiences has provide her with the knowledge needed to guide patients and their family on the best care and management of their diseases.
