In the course of many years as an editor I have published in excess of 1400 Christian books. I started the Monarch and Lion Fiction imprints, and have worked for Hodder & Stoughton, Kingsway, Lion Hudson and SPCK. A few years ago I walked the Camino de Santiago – nearly 500 miles, carrying a heavy pack – and describe this experience and its lessons in 'Taking My God for a Walk'. I confess some of my many errors in 'They'll Never Read That: How to make mistakes in publishing'. I am married to the author Pen Wilcock and live in Hastings, UK, where I now run my own literary agency.
