Omar Apodaca is a writer, poet, and student of life with a curiosity that causes him to wander.
The origin of Omar Apodaca begins in the hands of Mexican parents after being born in San Diego. Soon after, they took him to be raised and start his life’s journey in the Bay Area. His parents immigrated from Mexico for a shot at a new life full of opportunity for their children. Omar has harnessed that energy and used it to propel himself into not only a college graduate but a self-published author.
His semi-autobiographical poetry book, Genesis in the Inferno, tells a story of a boy who experiences the dark depths of hardship and undertakes the pursuit of self-growth despite all odds. His personality is reserved which could come off as soft-spoken and shy but the truth is he’s quietly thinking about his next move.
Omar intends to teach and inspire generations of individuals on how to overcome anything in their path. He understands the sorrows of being alone on the daunting journey of life. He hopes to be an example of surpassing all adversity towards the quest for success.
This is only the beginning of his life’s course; he’s no longer tormented by the perils of grief and depression. His pen has acted as a compass giving him the guidance to head in the right direction. He has taught himself to be fearless and enjoy the serene feeling of treading the road alone. Ironically, this has allowed him to find a community that gravitates towards his words.
The world is now ready to join the adventure alongside Omar Apodaca.
An adventure that was all part of the master plan.
