I was born and raised in a polygamous community. As such, the beliefs and practices were a normal part of my life. The world around me seemed foreign. My identity was so intertwined with the religion that when I left I lost all sense of who I was. Becoming part of normal society is something I still struggle with. My books are a reflection of what my life was like and the struggles regaining a sense of identity.

I have always loved writing. Blending this with my past experiences has been a therapeutic experience. My hope when people read my books is they find the stories engaging and worth their time. Maybe there will be something relatable that will help them in their life journey.
