Dr. Guy E. Glad

Dr. Guy E. Glad grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Michigan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, MCert from American Military University in Global Terrorism Studies, ThM in pastoral ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary, MS in marriage and family therapy from Texas A&M University, PhD in counseling from Trinity Seminary, and the DSL in strategic leadership from Faith International University.

Guy is an author, educator, therapist, and ordained minister. He served as an US Army Chaplain for 30 years, addiction medicine, behavioral health, and PTSD therapist for seven years at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis McChord near Tacoma, Washington, as the Dean of the School of Leadership and Associate Professor of leadership and counseling at Faith International University in Tacoma, Washington, and as an Adjunct Professor of leadership at Bakke Graduate University in Dallas, Texas.

His published works include "Ambushed! The Siren Song of Alcohol Use," "Personal Peace: Embrace the Promises," "Resilient Faith of Biblical Proportions," and, most recently, "The Thoughts of a Soldier...Transformed." More information is available at guyglad dot com.
