Doug Helm grew up in Louisville, Kentucky where he lives with his wife, Anne.
After a career in commercial banking with several regional and national banks, Doug enjoys a second career with MCM CPAs & Advisors, a regional CPA and Consulting firm where he leads the firm’s sales efforts and consults with business clients, helping them with their banking relationships and borrowing needs.
He received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bellarmine University and is also a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
He has taught commercial lending and money & banking courses at Bellarmine University as part of a bank continuing education program. He has also taught commercial banking and thesis advisory courses at Stonier Graduate Banking at Rutgers University and at the University of Delaware.
He has served on the Louisville Orchestra and Stonier Graduate Banking School boards and currently serves on the Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana board.
For fun, Doug enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, singing, swimming, traveling and following University of Louisville sports.
He has produced 2 musical CDs: Doug Sings Frank & Doug Helm Home For Christmas.
