Aldona Grupas is a practicing elderly care nursing who has penned multiple medical novels as “Nurse give me a pill for Death…” and “It’s hard to be an Angel”. She loves art and creative people. Aldona is a founder of Albion Art Club. She organise art exhibitions and poetry/literature events. Aldona Grupas was born in Riga, Latvia, to Lithuanian parents. In 1976, she moved with her family to Klaipeda, Lithuania where she lived for most of her life before moving to the United Kingdom in 2005. Aldona joined the Lithuanian community and actively participates in Lithuanian heritage projects. She wrote two books about Lithuanians living in the UK “West Midlands HO!” and “A history of Lithuanian writers in the United Kingdom”. Aldona published 7 books. Four books were awarded at literature festivals in Belgium, Australia and London. Her novels have been translated into over 3 languages.
