Having run my own business for 36 years, I sold up and retired. Looking for something to occupy myself, I turned to writing.

I have written articles for local publications, but never had the time to indulge my passion. Corona Virus lockdown gave me the incentive, and I have now written 10 books: 'Shattered Web of Lies', 'Echoes of Tragedy', 'Fortunes of Fate', 'Devious Dream Weaver', 'Red Kite Valley', 'Island House', 'Missing Presumed Dead', 'Secrets of the Past', 'Hidden in the Shadows', and 'Tainted Blood'. There is now another almost ready for publication, so watch this space for my latest offering.

They are now all beginning to receive good star ratings, and most have received very pleasing comments from people who've already enjoyed reading them. One is:- 'the best book you've written so far', and the other is 'the best book I've read in a long time'. 'Fortunes of Fate' has even had said about it 'Possibly the best book I've ever read in my life' - this by a lady of 93 who lived through the war years in Liverpool and the surrounding area, in the time and place where the book is based. I have received good feedback from those people who've contacted me, several calling them 'real page turners', and they have all received excellent ratings so far.

Numerous people have become real followers, having read each one as it's been published, and I always announce another on my Facebook page when it's been published.

Another is already in the pipeline, but as I like to read over each book 3 times before being satisfied with it, it's still at the proof-reading stage so far! This one is based almost solely around the Denbigh, Ruthin and Bala areas of North Wales.

Every book is totally different, with different characters, times, places and events, and all based in either North Wales, Wirral or Liverpool, with several small forays into Lancashire and Cheshire - with twists and turns throughout to keep you guessing - and I've tried to create a surprising ending to each one.
