D. G. Gillespie

Like my protagonist, Matthew Diggerson, I am a writing instructor at a New England college, but unlike him, my beautiful wife (Elena) never left me. We do love animals, though, and have had many dogs and feral cats (Elena is allergic to cats, so they can't come inside). Like Digger, I also create many Grammar Jam songs, which appear prominently in my third Digger book, "Marked for Murder," and I also had a scholarly article about that teaching tactic published (through the Prompt journal) a few years back.
