Andrew Swanson

Hi I'm Andrew Swanson. I've wanted to write children's books since I was in school, it's just taken me a long time to get round to it. Most of my book ideas began as stories I made up for my three young children in an attempt to get them to sleep... it seldom worked. I've also spent many years writing content for children as a producer in CBBC and CBeebies at the BBC in the UK. I'm really passionate about trying to get kids to think about acceptance, fairness and inclusion and encouraging them to be inquisitive about themselves and others.
