Stacey Bulluck is the President and CEO of Ordered Steps Inc. a nonprofit serving homeless women and formerly incarcerated women Veterans. She is a compassionate individual whose mission in life is to help others reach their full potential. She is dedicated to serving. She fulfilled her duty to this country for a little under 18 years where she advanced to the rank of Staff Sergeant and held many leadership positions during her tenure. Unfortunately, in 2002 Stacey was injured in the dessert and it brought her military career to an abrupt end.

As someone who always wants to help, Stacey began volunteering at N Street Village, a place where homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C are empowered “to claim their highest quality of life.” Stacey taught weekly life enrichment classes. After volunteering for 18 months she was hired as a Treatment Coordinator in their Phase I substance abuse program.

Simultaneously, Stacey was drawn to a local detention center in Ann Arundel County Maryland, where she began mentoring women who were incarcerated. She noticed there was a high rate of recidivism amongst the women. There was a need to stop the revolving door. In 2003, Stacey originally created the organization called Ordered Steps Discipleship Training Center to meet the need. Women came on their own or were sent by the judicial system to reside in the 1-year receiving instructions, guidance, and tools to live a successful productive life. Additionally, Stacey was asked not just to mentor the women, but to speak to male and female inmates regarding life skills in larger settings.

In April of 2019 Stacey took another major undertaking and moved from the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area) to Long Beach, California. Soon after her arrival to the West Coast she realized she was not sent here to do nothing, and she began teaching women Veterans life skills at the California Council of Veterans Affairs.
