Eboni Carroll

Eboni Carroll is the CEO/owner of Little Eboni Einsteins Publications. She began her writing journey as a very inquisitive child who frequented the neighborhood library as a form of entertainment. Born and raised in Memphis, TN, she began reading for leisure and developed a talent in writing, eventually sparking a strong desire to become a children’s book author. As a mother, she identified an early deficit in her son’s reading and writing and as his advocate, she sought educational resources to strengthen his development in those areas. Attempting to identify the most beneficial resources, Eboni discovered that her son needed attention grabbing stories that resonated with him. These books needed to consider his interests and reflect his image. After extensive research, she learned that literature that represents African American children, especially males, is scarce. Eboni took her son’s love for storytelling and her talent for writing and decided to contribute to increase the representation for black and brown children. Ms. Carroll believes that we are forever learners and that there is always a new perspective that can add to the world of reading.
