Magdalena López Brito.

I was born in Havana, Cuba, on March 26, 1961, I lived most of my life in the capital's municipality of Cerro.

In early childhood, when I was studying at Adala Elementary, I became interested in painting and theater circles of interest and I was already beginning to compose my first possessions, a reflection of a childhood love that lasted an eternity.

In 1974 she was twelve years old, she entered a teacher training school, known as Antón Makárenko. I graduated after five years as an elementary teacher in 1978.

I started working at the age of 17, as a preschool teacher, at the Republica del Peru school, in La Coronela, La Lisa Municipality, of which I keep the best memories, because there I started my great friendships until today.

I continued my studies and graduated in Education in the Specialty of Plastic Arts in 1993.

After more than 20 years in Education, I worked as a primary teacher, a Basic Secondary teacher, teaching Plastic Arts and finally as a municipal methodologist for Artistic Education.

Moved by personal interests related to art, I decide to do other jobs as a graphic designer. This made me move around different places, making posters, lights, magazines and newspapers. My last eight years of work in Cuba was in the Ministry of Culture.

In all that time I never lost my literary restlessness, I wrote a lot, but without much real possibility of publishing. However, I managed to publish one of my stories in a compendium, called Ghosts 1,2,3, to run.

Win in a contest sponsored by the “Enrique Sánchez Galarraga” Literary Workshop in the municipality of Cerro.

I also won first place in a radio novel contest, sponsored by Radio Rebelde.

I immigrated to the United States in 2012, I cannot validate my degree because I am not fluent in the English language and I enroll in the Technical School of South Florida, where I graduated as a designer.

Simultaneously and due to the need for work, I study as a nursing assistant, something that at first was a necessity and with time I managed to love this job, which I do with love and professionalism and in Amazon a book of poems, entitled “El love to the Edge of Pain "and my novel" Divine Gift "that just came out in print, which I would like you, my reader friend, to make yours with your reading and enjoy it as much, as your imagination allows.

Thanks for reading me.

I appreciate your time.
