Eidan Rosado

Eidan Rosado is a research scientist and author. She works full-time as a research scientist specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning, where her focus is on applied research and rapid prototyping, turning emerging ideas into working systems quickly. Over the course of her career, she has worked for defense, education, and enterprise cloud platform companies, giving her a grounded view of how software gets built and shipped across very different industries. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems, master's degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Alongside her research, Eidan teaches as an adjunct professor of computer science, where her courses span app development, software testing, and foundational artificial intelligence — and she enjoys helping newer engineers build durable habits early. Her technical expertise extends into the API and cloud development at the heart of this book, and her research interests run wider still, spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. She is most at home in the space where capable systems meet the people who actually use them.

Outside the lab and the classroom, Eidan finds joy in reading, writing, gardening, and exploring various forms of artistic expression. The same patience and curiosity those pursuits reward show up in how she writes.
