Scott Bowles

Scott Bowles is a retired journalist of 30 years, a former staff writer for The Washington Post, and a former film critic for USA Today. Bowles is a two-time Pulitzer prize nominee for beat writing, including in 1991 for a project that coined the term 'carjacking.' He is the winner of the University of Colorado's police reporter of the year award, and the 2006 recipient of the Press Award from the Publicists Guild of America. His other books include The Last Novel of Jack Torrance (fiction) and The Needle and the Damage Done (non-fiction).
