Johnna L. Hutchens

I was raised in Central Texas, where, at a young age, found I had a love for nurturing children. After graduating with a degree in Child Development, I completed an internship in Child Life at St.Louis Children’s Hospital. My passion for childcare led me to Colorado Springs as a live-in nanny. My 13 year adventure in Colorado, ended with another adventure of marriage and a family of my own. Though I have told my stories for more than 20 years to family and friends, it wasn’t until my daughter inspired me, that I finally pursued publishing! “Falling in Christmas Eve” is the first of my 7 book series starring Ann, Lin, and Clinton.

My husband, Andy and I live on a small farm near Chicago with our 9 year old daughter, Mariam, and our 3 year old Foster Daughter, Zae. I love to write, play with my children, take pictures, and spend time with family and friends.
