Born in Belfast in the early 1960's. I've suffered PTSD since my late teens, a result of childhood abuse. Between 2016 and 2020, I climbed to 18,000 feet on Everest, rode a motorbike 2000 kms across the Himalayas, trekked 800kms across the Camino de Santiago, dove on the Great Barrier Reef and climbed Ben Nevis three times, as well as circumnavigating the globe, on a journey researching the challenges the main character in my novel, Not All Flowers Face The Sun, Sean Jameson, undertook, almost dying twice. I now work as a 999 Call Handler for the Scottish Ambulance Service. Have worked with three leading UK children's charities, creating a range of audiobooks, kindly supported by major stars from Game of Thrones, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Dr Who and Braveheart.
I have 3 children, one adopted, and one grandchild, and live in Edinburgh.
