P. David Temple

P. David Temple is an award-winning author and playwright whose work has received national recognition for humor, satire, and contemporary fiction. His novel Five Times Lucky won the 2021 American Fiction Award for Humor/Comedy/Satire and a Silver Medal in the 2021 Readers’ Favorite Awards for Humor/Comedy.

Temple has worked in the entertainment industry as a director, director of photography, Emmy judge, and cameraman for the World Wrestling Federation during the era of Hulk Hogan and André the Giant. A graduate of the University of Michigan and a member of New York Stage Technician Local 52, he brings an insider’s perspective to stories about celebrity, ambition, and the absurdities of modern fame.
