Jan Mitchell Rogers

I was born in Essex in what used to be a village on the outskirts of London called Chadwell Heath.

After working in London and Birmingham,

in 1978 I moved to Montgomeryshire and felt I had finally come home. Mid Wales has inspired my writing and after running a hardware shop with my husband for 22 years I finally published my first novel 'Reaching for the Light' in 2020. I have previously written several short stories and articles some of which have appeared in the monthly Chronicle, the newspaper for the Cain, Tanat and Vyrnwy Valleys in North Powys. I have now collated stories I have written over the last 20 years into my new book of short stories called More to Life which is now available to buy from Amazon, and from Waterstones and other bookshops ISBN 9781805882336.
