Sandra Johnston

Sandra Johnston is the author of reflective short stories and personal journeys that focus on resilience, healing, and the quiet strength found in everyday life. Her love of storytelling began in childhood, inspired by listening to her father’s stories and discovering a passion for reading and writing at an early age.

With a background that spans business, education, and creative entrepreneurship, Sandra brings lived experience and authenticity to her writing. She has studied bookkeeping, reflexology, and aromatherapy; co‑managed a business; worked in real estate and early childhood education; and raised three children — all of which inform the depth and relatability of her work.

She is also the founder of several small businesses, including Shanda’s Gluten Free Baking, Opti‑Typing, and Opti‑Garments. As someone who is gluten intolerant herself, her baking business reflects her commitment to creating with care and purpose.

A lifelong lover of history, old trains, classic automobiles, and both fiction and non‑fiction, Sandra writes stories that are gentle, honest, and emotionally grounded. She has been involved in community and youth organisations such as Brownies, Girl Guides, Rover Scouts, and Children’s Church leadership. She is currently on a sabbatical, focusing on healing and writing.

Her books are ideal for readers who enjoy meaningful, short reads that linger long after the final page.
