Crystal was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers the State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts and a minor degree in Musical Theatre. She then ventured on to earn her MFA in Acting from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.
Some of her stage performances include playing the role of Portia in Julius Caesar Set in Africa, Celie in the Color Purple musical, and Kate in Good People. She also placed 4th Runner in the Miss Black USA pageant.
Crystal taught theatre in High School for 4 years, but decided to become a full time cultural architect within her companies to influence the world by continuously exercising her innovative artistic abilities. Crystal’s mission is to use multiple platforms for advocacy and storytelling to uplift, teach, and entertain people around the world. In 2021, Crystal was diagnosed with breast cancer one week before her son was due. She is a breast cancer warrior and continues to advocate for women with breast cancer around the world!
