Allison Hill

Allison Hill has spent more than three decades doing work she loves alongside people she cares about from launching global campaigns at Sprint and The Coca-Cola Company, to opening a boutique baby store after the birth of her first daughter, to currently leading social impact and content initiatives at a major private equity firm.

A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, where she also earned her MBA, Allison has built a career centered on connection, storytelling, leadership, and purpose. Throughout her professional journey, she has consistently looked for creative ways to help people feel more seen, supported, and inspired — both inside and outside the workplace.

Her newest book, Your Job Won’t Love You Back: 12 Principles to Live in Alignment with Your Heart, draws from her decades navigating demanding corporate environments while balancing marriage, motherhood, ambition, and personal growth. Through candid stories, humor, and her original “North Heart” framework, Allison encourages readers to stop tying their self-worth to career achievement and instead build lives grounded in connection, balance, and authenticity.

In addition to her corporate work, Allison served as Vice Chair of the President’s Council of Cornell Women, a community of more than 800 women leaders. During the pandemic, she founded Eat Laugh Give alongside her family, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening connection for families in need through food, community, and shared experiences.

Allison is also the author of the children’s book Lolly the Left Out Lobster, inspired by her belief in kindness, inclusion, and the importance of helping others feel like they belong.

She lives in Atlanta, Georgia and Ogunquit, Maine with her husband Geoff and two dogs (Billie - named after the Buffalo Bills & Dolly - inspired from trailblazer Dolly Parton). She is also the proud mom of two grown daughters and loves to babysit her grand dog.
