H. Jean-Baptiste

H. Jean-Baptiste is a Haitian-American writer, an Iraq War veteran, and an amateur philosopher whose academic credentials are born from the lecture halls of Georgia State University. During his time in the Army, he studied the Arabic language, trained as a cryptologic linguist, and joined the elite Fifth Special Forces Group (A) where he worked as a Special Operations Team Alpha (SOT-A) team member. Thereafter, as a civilian, Jean-Baptiste has dedicated his time to writing poems, stories, and essays, while pondering boring philosophical things. His interests include: semantics and metaphysics, social epistemology, moral psychology, and the works of Wittgenstein, Heiddegger, and Quine. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia—where the players play.
