Rob Broadhurst

Rob Broadhurst graduated from UC Davis in 2006 and received his MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2008. His work has been featured in William Finn’s "Songs By Ridiculously Talented Composers You Don’t Know But Should" concert series (Joe’s Pub, Barrington Stage) and his musical comedy "I'll Be Damned"—co-written with Brent “brentalfloss” Black—enjoyed a limited Off-Broadway run in 2010. Other writing credits include "Hindenburg: The Musical," "Bummer & Lazarus: A Dog Musical," "A Napa Valley Christmas Carol," "Saving Santa," and four “Shakespeare For Kids” musicals with Sacramento Theater Company ("A Midsummer Night’s Dream," "Twelfth Night," "The Tempest," and "Macbeth").

He’s written and produced children’s music for the multimedia franchise Mutasia (albums "Nature Calls," "Christmas on Mutasia," and "Silly Songs" available on iTunes and Amazon) and authored two collections of extremely short plays ("A Short Book of Short Plays By Rob Broadhurst" and "Another Short Book of Short Plays by Rob Broadhurst," both available on Amazon").
