D.C. Monahan

David and Cheryl Monahan began writing together in their ad agency, where they created copy for licensors like Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Lucasfilm, MLB and the NFL. Their first novel, The Navigator's Treasure, is a dual-timeline work surrounding the legend of Columbus' lost gold and Jewish piracy in the Caribbean. It has succeeded as a tourist staple on the island of Curaçao where it is set. Since then, they have crafted four additional stand-alone novels spanning a diverse range of time periods, geographic settings and genres. They are currently at work on Wendell's Wonderful Wing, a fantasy set in the baseball major leagues in the 1950s.

Cheryl earned a degree in theater, and David a degree in Art History from the University of New Hampshire. He taught art history at the former and his masters thesis film from Boston University, based on James Joyce's "The Dead” was an official U.S. entrant to the Malta International Film Festival.

They live in a small town in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and a fishing village on the island of Curaçao.
