Antonella Baldassano

Antonella Baldassano was born in Sciacca, Sicily. She is a writer by profession and lecturer in creative writing corse.

Among her novels we remember: The burning sun, B ... like a rainbow, Kill my soul, And then she spoke to God.

Her literary activity, which began at a very young age, was interested by numerous awards, also attracting the attention of the foreign press: we can remember an article in "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", the official newspaper of the Russian government, signed by N. Paklin, November 1999 .

Two of her poems on the theme of Peace, dedicated to Ytzakh Rabin and Viktor Cernomyrdin, in two editions of the Telamon Prize, have had a wide echo in the world. In 1996 she was awarded a Special Plaque of Merit from the Telamone International Peace Prize.

She has received three academic titles for cultural merits and the Laurea Honoris causa in Literature from the Universum Academy in 2020.
