David Richardson

David Richardson is the author of Doug & Stan, a series of short story books told through rhyme for primary school children about the zany adventures of an old man and his pet slug as he tries to sell his house. David was born and raised in a mining town in Nottinghamshire, England but now lives with his wife and three daughters in Adelaide, Australia. In addition to writing books David is also a health coach, helping people transform their lives through the food they eat. His other career highlights include working as a Supermarket Trolley Collector (which is incredibly hard to do in the snow), Gardener (also incredibly hard to do in the snow), Police Officer (many people still don’t believe he’s tall enough to be a cop) and Toilet Buyer (don’t ask)!
