Adrian Amparo

Adrian grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA for his undergraduate degree in Spanish Literature. A few months after graduating, he started teaching 2nd grade in Santa Ana, CA. After six years, he moved back to his hometown of Indio, CA where he is still teaching after 22 years.

Spiritually, Adrian grew up in a Catholic family but always had questions about the Bible. When people would knock on the door to talk about God, he would invite them in and talk them. However, no one could answer his questions. Through high school and college Adrian just assumed no one really had answers and just gave up his journey. It wasn't until his second year teaching in elementary school that he met a teacher who could answer his questions and led him to find a church where he could get more answers. This experience led Adrian back on his journey and soon he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Soon after that he was asked to be the youth leader for a small church in Santa Ana. As a youth pastor he focused his ministry in trying to teach his students how to answer the difficult questions he had growing up. As he started his family and moved back to Indio, he focused his ministry on his family and trying to make them strong Christians. He still volunteers at his local church, but his main focus has been on helping his children be strong men for the Lord.
