Mary Bourque Marcotte

Mary Marcotte is a poet, short story writer, and novelist. Mary and Richard, her husband of 47 years, live in central Louisiana, where the people, landscape, and culture serve as her inspiration. She is an English teacher retired from 30 years at the local high school and LSU-A. She is a prolific quilter donating quilts to a child's advocacy program, which uses "This World So Fierce" in their continuing certification programs.
