It is only when you realise that you do not know, that you are ready to get to know something significant. That is assuming that your realisation relates to something significant.

A question cam to me early one morning on my way to work: "Who are you?" My initial response was nearly automatic "I am a body, a mind and a soul."

Still the response was not sufficient because this small voice was insistant "And what does that mean?" When I started to really think about this I realised that I have been living in my body for a number of years and had piled up notable academic qualifications. The one thing closest to me - me - had remained an unsolved mystery to me. And so my greatest journey started!

I want you to be successful in all your pursuits and I have come to understand that in this world there are rules of success and happiness. It is not all chance with the wise. Some content themselves with placing themselves confidently at the door of Fortune, waiting till she opens it to them. (Know that she seldom does.) Others do better, they open the door and profit by their boldness, reaching the goddess and winning her favour on the wings of their effort and hard work. But the truth is that there is no other path to greatness than the road of wisdom; for there is no good or bad luck, just wisdom and foolishness.

Her voice echo through the ages.

“Hear the wisdom of the sages.”

My choice lingered boldly

between the anguish of my battles.

Wisdom calls from afar and

shines softly as the polestar.

Her lips speaks of light,

the beacons in my darkest night.

I write to share the light and I share the light because we are all just travellers on this plane and if we are lucky, we find our truth. If we fail, we will do it again ...
