Phillipa Carmody

Phillipa Carmody has begun a series of fantasy books for children which are founded on a somewhat multicultural basis whereby the personalities are very human and not the traditional stereotypes of creatures such as dragons, fairies, centaurs, cyclopes and unicorns. Adventure, co-operation, humour and the intricacies of human-like interaction infuse her extremely popular and entertaining tales. Having studied literature, history and philosophy in her B.A. (Hons), worked as a director in local theatre, travelled widely and raised her children, Phillipa has been able to draw on many experiences which have informed her writing.

Tales of Tildale Book 1 Rufus has just been published as an e-book and a paperback. Her second book, Tales of Tildale Book 2 Sorilla will shortly be published and her third one, Tales of Tildale Book 3 Lazar is planned for released later in the year.
