Mubashar Hasan

Mubashar Hasan is a Sydney based author and researcher. He was born and raised in Bangladesh. Previously he was a post doctoral fellow at the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages, University of Oslo, Norway. He begun his career as a journalist in Bangladesh while he was an undergraduate student of Mass Communication and Journalism in University of Dhaka. Hasan then went to UK for Master degree and studied in University of Dundee and University of Aberdeen before joining Oxfam as a media and communication coordinator for its Bangladesh Program. Simultaneously he begun working for The New Humanitarian, worlds's largest humanitarian news site as a journalist and continued working there as a free lancer until 2015. Hasan hold a PhD from the School of Government and International Relations, Griffith University, Australia.
