Cliff Biggers

Cliff Biggers was hooked on comics at the age of five; monster movies at the age of six; monster magazines at the age of seven; and horror fiction at the age of nine. He began working professionally as a writer for Jim Steranko's Mediascene Magazine in the 1970s. Soon afterwards, he co-produced the review magazine Future Retrospective. He has written millions of words for the comic book promotional news magazine Comic Shop News, which began in 1987. He has also written comic books, including the "Earth Boys" series that appeared in Dark Horse Presents and Isaac Asimov's i•Bots for Tekno Comix. He began writing horror fiction in 2015, producing short stories for numerous anthologies and magazines. A Winter's Tale, an original anthology co-edited with Charles R. Rutledge and James R. Tuck, is the first offering from Pavane Press; look for more from this imprint in the near future. Cliff plans to release his first short story collection in 2021.
