E.T. Hansen

E.T. Hansen is an American writer of fiction and non-fiction from Hawaii living in Berlin, Germany, where he writes about everything he can think of, from thrillers and pother novels to self-help books about achievement and success to newsletters and YouTube videos about life, its purpose and meaning, the mistakes he has made and the thing things he did right, and life as an American living abroad.

He has written a dozen books in German, including thrillers, and has only recently returned to his native tongue, English.

His first English-language book is an intimate personal memoir of growing up Mormon and eventually leaving the church – “Losing My Religion – Why I Love and Left my Mormon Faith”; he is currently planning a series of books about purpose, achievement and wisdom, the first of which is out now – "The George Washington Rulebook of Achievement."

Once he has that series out of the way, he will return to novels, including thrillers.

He writes about life as a writer and as an ex-pat, achievement and purpose, and poetry on YouTube channel "Poetry & Purpose" and on his dedicated website of the same name (poetryandpurpose.life).

He teaches creative writing and writes about writing under the name "Grumpy Old Writer."
