CP McHugh worked as a professional chef for nine years in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago before leaving the industry to pursue a career in writing. Her culinary work centered around the immigrant community discussed in her debut novel, The Barbary Lion. She loves adventure, suspense novels, wily female protagonists, and unique places. She is a storyteller by nature, a wife by good fortune, a runner by choice, and a mom to the two greatest little rascals in the world by pure luck. CP graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2007. The Barbary Lion is available on Amazon.
