That said, I am a retired serial entrepreneur and I have been writing for more years than I care to remember. But, as a late starter, this is my debut crime novel which is set in South Africa, a country which I visit every year with my wife. We have family living in Port Elizabeth and because my association with the country is relatively recent, I hope that I bring a freshness and vigour to my writing.
