Daniel J. Watkins is an assistant professor of History at Baylor University. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (2014) and a M.A. and B.A. from the University of Florida (2008, 2005). Daniel specializes on the history of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century France, particularly the impact that members of the French Catholic Church (most especially the Jesuits) had on the Enlightenment.
