In the late sixties, upon discharge from the Air Force, Art settled in Huntington Beach, California. After working briefly with his Dad in the mapping business Art accepted a position with Playboy Enterprises Inc. in early 1971. He worked at the "Playboy Mansion" in Los Angeles for over ten years as a security guard, supervisor, and consultant. As in Art's previous book, "Letters from Nam to Mom...and Others", Art writes a very experiential, first hand account of his time at the Playboy Mansion. He makes know attempt to sensationalize or titillate. Rather he just tells it like it is (was).
