Silvia Fernandes

I was born in Caracas in 1976, to a Portuguese immigrant family. I studied computer science at Universidad Central de Venezuela where I had my bachelor's degree. I worked as a systems engineer for sixteen years, before I decided to go in a vocational search again.

Even when I was determined and headed towards the gastronomy area, life led me to explore other horizons, that's how I came to write my first book "En busca de Manuel."

My mission is to witness what it means to experience a human life. Understand why we have come so far away from our essence as part of the same being, and find the way back to our origin.

I offer you my maps, experiences, questions and some answers I managed to find; maybe you'll find useful any of the conclusions I reached during this time.
