Janice Alexander

Janice Alexander is an expert on intermediate fasting and has successfully published two books on the topic. Yet, the path to becoming a writer wasn't an easy one. After giving birth to her son in her mid-thirties, Janice had started gaining a lot of weight. The journey to obesity was gradual but it was quickly leading towards a death sentence. It wasn't until she visited her doctor, her two-year-old son in her lap, did she get to know how critical things had become. She realized how grave the situation was and that she was the only one who could save herself. That was when the idea of intermediate fasting first introduced to her.

As the next year rolled around, people everywhere noticed the difference in her weight. The fasting was working. The progress moved at a snail's pace but it was working. This was the only motivation she had during those hard times. And difficult times they were indeed but giving up was not an option any more.

Over the years people have asked her so many times how she brought about such a huge change in herself, that they would like her to give them some tips too. This is what motivated her to become a writer. She believed she had something people could relate to. That her experiences made her understand the feeling and struggles of people who go through something similar in a better way. And she wanted to find a way to help them because she knew the importance of a strong support system at such times. So, this is her way of trying to make the world a better place. Her way of reaching out to those who could benefit from her knowledge.

In Alexander's own words:

"All of us are so much more than what our bodies may make us out to be. And the only way to prove everyone wrong is to believe in yourself. So I'll take the first step for you by saying I BELIEVE IN YOU. Now's your turn."
