Stephanie D. McCall

Dr. Stephanie D. McCall is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching. She teaches education foundations courses and graduate-level courses in curriculum theory, history, and design through a critical feminist framework. Her research interests include curriculum studies, gender and sexuality in school, the education of girls and single-sex school policy. Current projects include the study of disruptive pedagogies in sex education, a critical analysis of pornography literacy, and the difficult knowledge of violence in curriculum.
