Becoming an author is what happens when a former small-town farm girl turned successful professional finds herself in the fight of her life.

Her first book provides specific details about her three-year fight that led her to a different, more peaceful, and life changing path by choosing God over money. Aleta's first book touches on her early life experiences that explain how she ended up in a courtroom fighting for the truth. Aleta wanted to share her journey of how hope, faith, and love ultimately overcame fear, trauma, and self-doubt. She decided to become an author to help others who are facing difficult choices that are in conflict with their core values and let them know that we ALL struggle in some shape or form. Through her journey, She found out the hard way, that it is what we do with that pain afterwards that is so important.

Aleta's second book is now available. Book two is a fictional depiction of several real-life stories that were collected throughout her life. The character, Justine, is tested at each of her critical life and death decision points. Her conflicting internal and external battles, that lead to choices (either good or bad), become her own personal 11:11 conundrum. As Justine matures, she bumps into persistent roadblocks while climbing the executive career ladder and finds out the hard way that her culture has created delusions of reality and truth about specific roles related to being a boy or a girl. Justine figures out that life is hard, but with true love in her corner, all things are possible.

An 11 week supplemental group discussion guide is now available that complements the storyline of “Just a Farm Girl Finding Purpose and Peace.” Together, the book and this guide, will tackle tough conversations about the ups and downs of women's choices throughout their lives. This guide was developed to empower the participants to embrace the blessings that surround them and get the sisterly support needed to tackle fear, forgive others, and fight the fade of everyday chaotic life, in a safe and loving environment.
