Peter Crussell

Fulfilling a lifelong ambition Peter gave up full time employment in 2017 to concentrate on writing, and hasn't regretted a day since. Well known as children's author P.C. Crussell and for his book series Tales From The Enchanted Forest, Peter is also an accomplished playwright and lyricist, having penned the successful stage musical The Owl and the Pussycat in 2014, the plays Café La Madeleine in 2015, The Topping of Tommy Twogood in 2021, The Manor of Murder in 2022 and Write To Die in 2025, as well as over half a dozen successful - and occasional award winning - pantomimes which have been performed as far away as the west coast of Canada.

His debut novel, The Ties That Bind, was a worldwide seller and in 2025 he released The Manor of Murder, the first in a new series of cosy murder mysteries set in 1960s Britain and featuring the detective duo DI Harry Yorke and DS Penny Lane.
