Joann Coleman

Having practiced in a variety of health care settings, Nurse Joann Coleman's professional career spans well over 30 years. Joann understands the journey of nursing students, new nurses and experienced nurses alike. Having journeyed as a nurse, Joann understands why mentorship is important for new nurses as they begin to bridge the gap between theory and safe practice. She also understands the importance of a workplace environment that promotes diversity, cohesiveness, and safe patient outcomes. Joann enjoys teaching and sharing her nursing experience as she remains a bedside nurse with the hopes that she will have an impact on future generations of nurses.
