Zachary King

Author & Illustrator Zachary King grew up in Ventura, California, with a love for listening to stories, art, surfing, golfing, fishing, and camping. When he was little, his father, William, would make up fun stories to tell him and his siblings. He loved listening to his father's stories and imagining all of the characters going on adventures. With his love for art, he continued to take art classes even when he was in college at Cal Poly, SLO. After College he married his now wife Staci, and he continued doing his art as a hobby by drawing pictures for his family members. When he became a father, he found himself reading bedtime stories to his own children Leanna and Zoey, and it inspired him to combine his love for stories and art to create his own books for others to enjoy.
