Raymond K. Li

Dr. Raymond K. Li, Ph.D., has earned advanced degrees in mathematics, economics, management, and finance. After six years in the academia, he has held senior management positions in a major multinational bank and firms in the Wall Street for 32 years. For the past 20 years, his interest has been switched to Chinese classics, oriental philosophies, and religions. He has tried to transcend his worldly experience and perspective of life in pursuit of spiritual enlightenment expounded by such philosophies and religions. Since his retirement, he has focused on the work of translating and explaining ancient Chinese classics in plain English so that common readers in the West can understand and benefit from profound wisdom of ancient sages. He is the author of Confucius Analects, A New Translation with Annotations and Commentaries, Sun Tzu's Military Principles, Applications to Business and Daily Life, Mencius in Modern Perspectives, and The Life and Words of Confucius.
