William Illsey Atkinson

Bill Atkinson, a US ex-pat living in Toronto, has been a professional science writer since 1971. Born in Seattle WA to a US Navy Lieutenant Commander and his Canadian bride, Atkinson studied engineering, history, and anthropology in college. His nonfiction books have been shortlisted for the National Business Book Award and the National Science Writers’ Award, praised by Physics Today and The Wall Street Journal, and named to Executive Book Summaries’ Top 30 Business Books.
